Sex Offender Registry

The purpose of this site is to provide information to members, visitors, guests, employees and the public of the Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians the location of sex offenders within the Kaibab Paiute Reservation. On February 16, 2012, the Kaibab Paiute Tribal Council passed the Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians Sex Offender Registration Code, which was effective immediately. As part of the passage of this sex offender registration code (resolution #K-04-12) and in compliance with the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act that was passed by congress, this website was established. This site is not intended to supplant the community notification process but to allow public awareness concerning the potential threat that sex offenders pose to the public within the reservation.

Hopefully this site will assist and empower the public to obtain and gather necessary information that will allow for a more informed decision on what precautionary measures to take. Providing the public with information regarding convicted sex offenders within the reservation is a critical step towards encouraging the public to protect themselves from potential future acts and educate the public on the possible presence of such offenders on the reservation.
